A Recap of Googles’ Annual Hardware Event. Sep 2020 Version.

Google, one of the best producers of android and other devices launched it’s hardware event on the 30th of sep. Google announced some major devices which some are available and others will be available soon.


To make things interesting, here is a list of devices announced by google.

Google pixel 5

Googles upcoming flagship phone google pixel 5 is a 5G device, which offers a lot of new features different from it’s predecessors. This device comes in a 100% recycled aluminum body and offers reverse wireless charging, just imagine using a pixel 5 device to charge other devices. It comes with an android 11 operating system, packed with a very powerful camera, a front camera of
8 MP, f/2.0, 24mm (wide) with auto HDR, a back camera of 12.2 MP, f/1.7, 27mm (wide),16 MP, f/2.2, 107˚ (ultrawide). Pixel 5 have a 6 inch display and is available for preorder starting at $699.

5G Version of Pixel 4a
In addition to pixel 5, google announced pixel a 5G version of pixel 4a starting at a price of $499.This device has a lot of specs similar to that of pixel 5. This device will be available in Japan on 15th october. This device also comes with a new google assistant feature which will stay on the line for you when you make a call and then get put on hold, then send you an alert when someone picks up. Pixel 5 has this feature as well. one will think that the pixel 4a is similar to the 5G version of 4a but that’s not the case. They are way different.

Google Tv and chromecast

Google introduced a new feature on it’s very own TV. Googles TV will be bringing streaming, live TV and other services together in one place. one can watch live Tv on youtube as well.

The interface is included as part of the new Chromecast with Google TV, which also adds a remote control to Google’s streaming dongle and costs $49.

Nest Audio

Nest audio starting at a price of $99. Despite that lower price, Nest Audio is an improvement over the Google Home in nearly every way. It’s larger but easy to carry around. This device is said to be 75% louder and has 50% stronger bass than the original Google Home and is available as at now.
