Certain actions that come with the circular genre in our entertainment/music industry are considered ungodly. Therefore, it becomes very surprising when you get to find out that, some of these celebrities in the ‘show business’ were actually raised from Godly homes. In this post we list some of our top Ghanaian celebrities whose parents are actually pastors.
1) Wanlov Da Kuborlor
The hilarious Ghanaian entertainer has aroused many Ghanaians with very exciting contents. His sense of humor in his acts are always exceptional. His real name which few know of is Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu. Kubolor’s father is called Rev. James Owusu-Bonsu, he is the founder and head pastor of Awesome Grace Network. Quite surprising, isn’t it. He is a very renowned preacher in the country, I can confirm.
2) Deborah Vanessah
Professionally goes by the name “Sister Derby”, this sensational singer has thrilled many Ghanaians with some nice songs. Obviously, having the same father with his brother Wanlove, Sister Derby also come from a Godly home fathered by same Rev. James Owusu-Bonsu, the founder and head pastor of awesome Grace Network.

3) Lydia Forson
Lydia Forson stands as one of the most outstanding actresses in the country. She’s known to be very social and ‘loud moth’ but hardy give attention to critics thrown at her. However, many do not know for a fact, that Lydia’s father is a reverend minister of the Gospel of Christ. His name is Very. Rev. Dr. Mathias Forson, who has served many years with the Methodist Church Ghana as is a pastor.

4) M.anifest
“mdodotido” is his entry disclaimer in most of his songs. M.anifest bears the name Kwame Ametepe Tsikata. Many were surprised to notice that the sensational rapper is fathered by renowned lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata of the NDC. Then, I bet you will be more surprised if I reveal to you that, M.anifest’s mother is a a renowned lady preacher. Her name is Rev. Priscilla Naana Nketia, a pastor at the Gbawe branch of the International Central Gospel Church.
