Former President, John Mahama as part of his plans to develop Zongo areas has promised that come December 7, if he is elected into power, he’ll build mortuaries in Zongo communities.

Speaking on Woezor TV, he said this is a very important thing that he seeks to fulfill and that the projects would be carried out with respect to the customs of the Islamic religion.

According to Mr. Mahama, this development forms part of the many programmes which the National Democratic Congress (NDC) plans to implement in order to develop Zongos and deprived communities when he takes over the governance of this nation in 2021.

In the interview, as monitored by Ghverse.com, the former president John Mahama said the mortuaries will help preserve the dead in Zongo areas.
