Mercy Johnson married Prince Odianosen Okojie on August 27, 2011and they have four children,three daughters and a son.

The actress has been very successful in her acting career to the extent that she was once banned from acting for being too expensive on the 3rd of November, 2013, the movie marketers of Nollywood threatened to prohibit her from the industry due to her high demands.

However, the ban was lifted by marketers/producers on the 9th of March, 2014, following an apology from the actress.

Mercy Johnson Okojie has acted in more than 100 movies since joining the industry and continues to work as a producer, director and actress.
